QUALITY: The canvas material is nice and thick and feels very durable to the touch. The leather also feels high quality. Overall I’m very impressed. It has a good weight to it too. When you pick it up it has some heft and feels sturdy without being bulky.CONCERNS: I’m a tad worried that the zipper won’t hold out, as I’ve seen several reviews that say their zipper broke. It doesn’t feel incredibly robust, so I find myself being a little gentle when opening and closing the bag.SIZE: It’s a very generously sized bag. It’s a bit bigger than I was imagining in my head, but it will be good for longer trips. It may be a too large for a weekend, unless of course you like to carry a lot of stuff, and it’s certainly too big for an overnight trip. I don’t see this being an under-the-seat bag on a plane without having absolutely no leg room. You certainly wouldn’t get away with carrying it on as a free of charge “personal item.” It’s way too big for that.
